$500/month (no minimum commitment)

If you want to better integrate training into your life, if you need your training schedule to be as dynamic as your life, if you desire a level of guidance that a generic plan does not provide, and/or if you want to talk to someone who is passionate about training and racing and has been through each and every experience and emotion that comes along with training and racing – (and enjoys talking about it) – Personalized Coaching with Coach Jimmy is for you.

Take the guesswork out of your training and recovery so that you can focus on the other aspects of your life.  Balance, after all, combined with a smart program and good, old-fashioned hard work is what will make you a better person and the best athlete you can be.  

What you get:

  • Unlimited phone calls and/or email with Coach Jimmy to discuss your training and progress

  • A long range, big picture plan incorporating your training and racing goals

  • Detailed daily workouts customized for you and delivered via an online training log (usually delivered in weekly or monthly blocks, depending on your scheduling needs)

  • Determination of training zones and an explanation of the prescribed training intensities

  • One-on-one training in Tucson, based on the availability (travel and lodging costs not included)

Pre-Designed Plans

Coach Jimmy’s tried and true training plans will help you realize your triathlon goals.

If you want to take the guesswork out of training and are looking for an affordable, simple, yet detailed plan to follow for your next triathlon - Coach Jimmy’s generic plans are a great option.  

All beginner training plans are geared toward the entry level athlete who has some experience with swimming, cycling and running.

All intermediate plans are geared toward the athlete who has participated in a few events and is looking to improve upon his/her finishing time, or stepping up from one of Riccitello’s beginner plans.

All advanced plans are geared toward the athlete who has a lot of training and racing experience and is looking to take their results to the next level.

All plans feature relatively short weekly individual workouts (30-75 minutes) and relatively long weekend individual workouts (1-6 hours).

Typical weekly triathlon training duration ranges from 5-7 hours for the beginner plans, 5-12 hours for the intermediate plans, and 5-16 hours for the advanced plans.
