Dedication | Balance | Experience

As a coach, I apply the same dedication and thoughtfulness to your training plan that I applied to my own training plan during my 20 years as one of the world’s top professional triathletes.

My mission is to take the guesswork out of training so that you can focus on other elements of your life without sacrificing performance.

Coaching and Training Plans.

Balance was a key to Coach Jimmy’s long term success and now, as a husband and father of two children, you can be sure that your program will integrate your specific needs – whether you’re a competitive triathlete or first timer.

Camps.

Arrive as a Camper and leave as a friend.

Whether you’re looking to explore the spectacular climbs and descents of the French Alps, train yourself into oblivion on the roads and trails of Tucson, Arizona, or simply be pampered while getting a little exercise in - I can help. I’ve been running camps across the USA and France for more than 12 years and there’s nothing more special than sharing spectacular training and creating memories with new friends.

“The question is:  do you want a person who will just write your workouts?  Or do you want a coach?

I’m Jenny Lagerquist and I’ve been training and racing under Jimmy for nearly 5 years now.  Jimmy has taken me from a decent triathlete to a competitive triathlete and a very competitive cyclist.  He has seen me through so many stages of life: spouse deployments, pregnancy, post-pregnancy, career demands, career changes, child rearing and now, my own small coaching business.  All the while, he coaches and supports, alters and accommodates, mentors and educates.  And I just keep getting faster.  Jimmy is one of the very few who actually preaches AND practices balance—life with triathlon.  He wants me to succeed but not at the price of an alienated family!  And its true—he will chat with you whenever you need him.

It’s a little difficult to describe Jimmy:
hard, but kind;
challenging, but accommodating;
crude, but endearing.

As an athlete, he has a tremendous record and he has succeeded at bringing that depth of knowledge, skill and desire to his coaching techniques.  Moreover, he’ll celebrate in your achievements and regret your losses, right along with you.”
